Brewery Vivant & Round of Apaws have paired up! Dining with Your Dog is a 4-week training series designed for you and your pup to enjoy eating out together! What's more is that you will receive ONE COMPLIMENTARY 5oz pour (your choice of: Farmhand, Big Red, Tropical Saison or Strawbarb) at the end of each class (MUST BRING ID)
PLEASE NOTE: This course is intended for dogs 4 months and older who do not exhibit anxiety or aggression in public spaces and around unfamiliar dogs and humans.
In this fun program, you and your dog will learn:
Restaurant Etiquette: We'll cover manners, appropriate greetings, and leaving neighboring tables undisturbed.
Relaxation Techniques: Help your dog chill and enjoy the experience! Learn techniques to keep them calm and comfortable throughout your meal.
Fun & Functional Tricks: Spice things up with some entertaining tricks you can teach your dog while dining out. Show off their skills and keep them mentally stimulated.
This course is perfect for:
- Dog owners who want to confidently take their well-behaved pup to dog-friendly restaurants.
- Dog owners/handlers training their dog to go into therapy work or service dog work.
- Dog owners/handlers who would like to work towards their AKC Canine Good Citizen, AKC Community Canine, or AKC Urban titles.
- Individuals who want to improve their dog's relaxation skills in new situations.
- Anyone seeking fun and engaging ways to bond with their furry friend.
We strongly encourage hanging out for lunch after class! You can get some extra practice time in and we personally love the Nashville chicken sandwich, truffle frites, and of course pretzels with beer cheese!
PLEASE BRING TO CLASS:
- A standard/flat buckle collar or harness
- A standard 4-6ft leash
- A dedicated small lightweight blanket, towel, yoga mat, or bathing for your dog to lie on (we recommend lightweight for making travel easier, and we also like that bath mats have a non-slip backing)
- LOTS of small, HIGH VALUE treats (freeze dried chicken breast, liver, etc)
